The Perspectives Program

What is the Perspectives Program?

The Perspectives Program comprises a collection of interconnected career-related courses developed by the VSE Career Centre team for BIE students. The purpose of the program is as follows:

  • To assist you with your professional and personal development through self-directed learning and opportunities for you to seek support
  • To introduce you to resources that you will need to manage your career
  • To encourage you to think critically when making decisions throughout your academic and professional life
  • To support you in your networking and connecting with current BIE students, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders
  • To provide you with tools for local, national, and/or international job search

While this program is delivered virtually through Canvas, we encourage you to use our drop-in sessions with peer coaches, career appointments with the director, peer group coaching and/or developing emotional intelligence for leaders group coaching to support your success. The courses are listed below in their suggested sequence but may be taken in any order according to your needs. You can view more information on each course by clicking the course name and enrolling in completed courses by clicking the Enroll button.

Note: Perspectives is still in its early stages, so new courses will be launched throughout the coming year. As new courses are launched, you will be notified via email, and we encourage you to visit this page regularly.
